When you’re packing for a trip or loading up gear, you want bars that feel solid. These Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty crossbars are built from aluminum and rated for 220 lbs. The strength gives you the confidence to haul kayaks, lumber, or contractor gear without flexing under pressure. The sturdy feel makes long drives or bumpy roads a lot less stressful.
Whether you’re carrying tools for the job or setting up for a weekend adventure, these square bars make it simple to mount what you need. The top channels work with Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty accessories like ladder rollers, load stops, and eyebolts. You can easily secure your gear right where you want it so it stays put mile after mile.
There’s no point in having strong bars if they don’t stay locked down. This setup includes (4) 2500 Series legs with lockable cover plates that secure the rack to your roof. Once tightened, everything feels solid with no looseness or slip. You can load up knowing your gear is staying right where you mounted it.
The rubber strips built into the channels do more than just fill space—they keep things steady and protected. They cushion your load and add slip resistance so your accessories don’t shift around. It’s a small touch that makes loading smoother and keeps your equipment from getting scuffed or rattled during travel.
These black aluminum bars are made for a long life on the roof. The crossbars come with a limited lifetime warranty, while the legs and fit kit have 5-year limited coverage. It’s a durable system that’s ready for years of hauling, whether that’s daily work loads or weekend getaways.
